Character, Dignity, Scholarship, and College Loyalty. These are the core values of Alpha Omicron Pi. The women of Rho Omicron chapter strive each day to uphold these values and carry them out as dynamic members of the MTSU community. As AOIIs, we pride ourselves in creating the best possible experience for our members through countless leadership opportunities, academic supports, sisterhood events, and our innovative new member program. We truly seek to Inspire Ambition in our members and on our campus every day. Our chapter is fortunate enough to support not one, but two wonderful philanthropies each year—Special Kids Therapy and Nursing Center and The Arthritis Foundation. Our two philanthropy events, All Sing and Strike Out Arthritis, gave us the opportunity to donate a total of over $20,000 to our beloved causes. Furthermore, Rho Omicron’s efforts have been recognized at both the campus level and on the International level in recent years. At Alpha Omicron Pi’s 2023 International Convention, our chapter captured nine category awards in addition to being named as a Chapter of Excellence, while being named the number 1 chapter of AOII internationally. We were also recognized with the President’s Cup at the 2023 MTSU Greek Awards as well as 5 category awards and the Highest GPA in Fall and Spring Semester, President of the Year, New Member of Year Award, and two Dean Judy Smith Scholarship winners. Since our founding in 1897, Alpha Omicron Pi has continuously succeeded the expectation in all that we do.
